During National Library Week from April 6 to April 12, the role of libraries in providing resources and learning opportunities is highlighted. Libraries offer services that cater to various needs including book borrowing, research support, and providing a quiet space for thought.
"During National Library Week, take a moment to appreciate the resources, knowledge, and opportunities our local libraries provide! Whether you’re borrowing a book, researching a new topic, or simply finding a quiet place to think, libraries are here to support curiosity and lifelong learning."
In recent activities, Rep. Sosnowski engaged with community library initiatives. In October 2022, Sosnowski visited the Marengo-Union Library District to assist residents with claims related to the State Treasurer’s I-Cash program. Earlier, in August 2021, he attended the Cherry Valley Public Library's expansion ribbon-cutting ceremony.
