The Illinois College women's tennis team faced a challenging match against the Greenville Panthers, resulting in a 7-0 loss on Monday. The matches took place at the Bellatti Tennis Center in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Despite the loss, Michelle Maag and Lily Ingram secured a win in the No. 2 doubles match for Illinois College. However, their effort was not enough to claim the doubles point, as Greenville won the other doubles matches.

In singles play, Greenville achieved victory in all six matches. Lily Ingram and Sabrina Ingram both saw their matches extended to tie-breakers. Lily Ingram, playing at No. 4, concluded her match with a 13-11 score in the final set, while Sabrina Ingram, at No. 5, finished at 12-10.

Illinois College's next match is scheduled for Sunday, where they will travel to Kirksville, Missouri, to compete against Truman State. The match is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
