Charlie Lardi has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league. This is the second time Lardi has received this title this season. His recent performance included throwing 7.2 innings during a combined no-hitter against Knox.
This accolade follows Lardi's earlier recognition when he was named to the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week two weeks ago. During the game, Lardi equaled the school record with 13 strikeouts, contributing to an unbeaten season record of 5-0. Lardi has accumulated 53 strikeouts over 37.1 innings pitched, while allowing just one earned run in his last three appearances for the Blueboys.
The Blueboys are set to play a conference series against Cornell College, with games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. The first pitch is set for 12:00 pm.
