The Blueboys golf team finished fourth at their 2025 Blueboy Invitational at The Rail Golf Course in Springfield, Illinois. Over the two-day event, the team concluded with a score of 301, finishing at +11.
Kirkwood took the top spot by securing the tournament title with a final-round score of 288. Illinois Wesleyan and Dubuque followed in second and third place, respectively, with scores of 296 and 297.
Myles Kampwerth led the Blueboys, finishing two-under for the tournament. His performance, including a second-round score of 74, earned him third place individually. Jarrett James also contributed significantly, finishing at even-par for ninth place. Tobin Nell and Dylan Clark assisted the team's score by both posting scores of 76 in the second round.
The IC White team ended up in tenth place, led by Teddy Walbaum. After an opening-round score of 69, Walbaum completed the tournament one-over par with a steady 76 in the second round.
The Blueboys have a break before their next tournament at Jacksonville Country Club on April 21. Seniors on the team will be honored at the event before they prepare for the conference tournament.
