South Beloit city celebrates Ross Robertson's achievements

Rep. Sosnowski attended the South Beloit city council meeting to celebrate Ross Robertson's achievements. April 21 was officially declared "Ross Robertson Day" in South Beloit. A congratulatory certificate from the State of Illinois was presented to Robertson in recognition of his contributions.

Robertson holds several state career records: first in field goals made with 1,135, second in rebounds with 1,738, fourth in career points with 3,048, and fifth in free throws with 672. He also ranks in the top 20 for scoring average with 23.09. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Robertson maintains a 4.39-grade point average.

Robertson is set to represent the Stateline at Northern Michigan this fall, and further details on South Beloit's recognition can be found through WTVO/WQRF.
