The Illinois College women's tennis team completed the regular season with a decisive victory over Kaskaskia. They achieved a 7-0 sweep on Tuesday evening.
In doubles competition, the team secured the point with three matches, each ending in a 6-1 scoreline. Victorious pairs included Alyssa Wise and Sophie Muir at No. 1, Michelle Maag and Lily Ingram at No. 2, and Sabrina Ingram and Sophi Barrow at No. 3.
The team continued to dominate in singles play, winning all six matches without dropping a set. Lily Ingram, playing at the No. 4 spot, won 6-0, 6-0. Her teammate Sabrina Ingram, at No. 5, recorded a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
Looking ahead, the Lady Blues are set to compete in the Midwest Conference Tournament on May 3. They will face Grinnell in the opening round at Middleton, Wisconsin.
