Illinois College men's tennis team ends regular season with 7-0 win over Kaskaskia

The Illinois College men's tennis team concluded the regular season with a dominant performance, achieving a 7-0 win against Kaskaskia. This decisive match took place on Tuesday evening in Centralia, Ill.

In doubles, Illinois College secured victories from Tejas Zala and Andrus Dupre at No. 1 doubles and from Grayson Dupre and Titus Ashford at No. 2 doubles. Kaskaskia forfeited at No. 3 doubles, giving Illinois College an early 1-0 lead.

In singles action, the Blueboys maintained their winning streak by winning all four matches, with Kaskaskia also forfeiting the No. 5 and No. 6 matches. Titus Ashford achieved a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3, and Wernsing secured a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 2.

The Blueboys are set to make their debut in the Midwest Conference Tournament in Middleton, Wis. Their opening match against Grinnell will take place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
