Honorees from across the state gathered in Springfield on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, for the Women's recognition conference. Now in its fourth year, the "Women to Watch" program was initiated to honor emerging women leaders. Each year, state legislators identify and invite promising talents from their districts to the conference, providing them with a platform for recognition and discussion.
This year's gathering saw the presence of two women from Rep. Rosenthal's district. Holly Klausing holds a position at Ameren as a business development executive and serves on the Macoupin County Board. Jenny Hanks is recognized for her agricultural contributions, running a drone business that supports farmers in crop monitoring and spraying services.
Rep. Rosenthal expressed gratitude to Leader McCombie and the Republican Caucus Team for their role in organizing the event. "Thank you to Leader McCombie and our Republican Caucus Team for organizing a great event for our 'Women to Watch' in Illinois."
