Illinois College men's tennis scores eight victories at Midwest Conference Tournament

The Illinois College men's tennis team secured eight victories in the individual rounds at the Midwest Conference Tournament held at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Middleton, Wisconsin, last weekend.

The team saw four players, Jeff Wernsing, Glenn Conway, Andrus Dupre, and Titus Ashford, win their initial matches before being eliminated in the semifinals. Tejas Zala, despite losing in his opening match, claimed the consolation championship at the No. 1 spot.

In doubles action, the Blueboys showcased further success with all three pairs winning their first-round matches. The team of Wernsing and Conway, as well as the duo of Zala and Andrus Dupre, reached the semifinals before being ousted. The pairing of Grayson Dupre and Ashford also made it to the semifinals.
