Illinois College's athlete, Jordan Closs, has once again been honored by the Midwest Conference. The announcement from the league today highlighted her impressive achievement of being named Pitcher of the Week for the third consecutive time, marking the fourth occasion this season that she has received this accolade.

Jordan Closs, a junior hailing from Niantic, Illinois, showcased a notable performance against Grinnell. In her latest game, she maintained her streak of scoreless innings, reaching 46 1/3 innings. Her gameplay included a seven-hit, eight-strikeout shutout victory. During the conference play this season, she has only allowed two runs over 52 innings. Her current record stands at 12-3, sporting an ERA of 1.79.

Her recent successes have extended her winning streak to six consecutive starts and eight wins in her last nine games.
