The Blueboys improved their performance in the second round of the 2025 SLIAC Men's Golf Championship at Timbergate Golf Course, reducing their team score by nine strokes. This improvement was largely due to Jarrett James' impressive play.
James started with a 76 (+4) but made a strong comeback in the second round, scoring a 68 (-4). His back nine was particularly notable, as he recorded five birdies and only one bogey for a total of 32.
Teddy Walbaum also delivered a steady performance with an even-par 72, including four birdies. Myles Kampwerth contributed a score of 74, while Dylan Clark added a 75 to complete the team's scores. Tobin Nell provided support with his round of 76.
As they head into the final round, James is tied for eighth place, just five shots behind the leader. Walbaum and Kampwerth are tied for 12th place, only one shot away from breaking into the top-10 and potentially earning All-Conference honors.
The Blueboys are set to begin their final round on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Timbergate Golf Course.
