State Representative Mike Coffey is collaborating with the Animal Protective League (APL) to host a pet adoption event. The event will take place on June 21, 2025, at Papa Frank’s outdoor patio in Springfield, Illinois.
The initiative aims to provide dogs and cats from animal shelters with new homes. By adopting a pet from a shelter, individuals can offer these animals a second chance and support their welfare.
State Representative Mike Coffey has announced that all adoption fees will be waived during this event. This gesture is intended to encourage more people to consider adopting pets in need of homes.
