Illinois College baseball players Charlie Lardi and Louie Bartletti have received recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association. The ABCA announced on Tuesday that both athletes were named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region 9 Team.
Charlie Lardi earned a spot on the First Team and was honored as Region 9 Pitcher of the Year. His performance this season included a 7-1 record with a 1.91 ERA, striking out a school-record 82 batters over ten starts while allowing only 13 earned runs.
Louie Bartletti was selected for the Second Team after an impressive season at bat. He led Illinois College with a .374 batting average, participated in all 40 games, drove in 33 runs, scored 51 times, and recorded 23 extra-base hits.
Both players also received recognition from D3baseball.com. Lardi was selected for the Third Team, while Bartletti was named to the Second Team.
