The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has announced the inclusion of 24 additional professions into its new online licensing system, CORE (Comprehensive Online Regulatory Environment). This development marks the completion of Phase 2.3, with the final part of Phase 2 set to finish this summer.

The IDFPR stated that Phase 2 aims to bring more license types into CORE, replacing paper applications that are not supported by the older online system. The move is expected to eliminate delays associated with paper applications.
