Illinois State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) participated in a small business forum held in Springfield, where local business leaders gathered to discuss ways to improve the state's business environment. Coffey expressed appreciation for the invitation extended by Robert Ferriell and acknowledged the participation of Phil Melin, Noah Finley, Ryan McCrady, Pat Sheehan, and David Curtain.
"I want to thank Robert Ferriell for inviting me join a small business forum today in Springfield. Other business leaders such as Phil Melin, Noah Finley, Ryan McCrady, Pat Sheehan, and David Curtain also attended to share their insights and solutions to improve the business climate in Illinois," Coffey said.
He emphasized the importance of open dialogue on economic growth. "Having open discussions about how to grow the private sector and economy is important. Today’s meeting really highlighted shared priorities on making Illinois more business-friendly."
Coffey was elected as a Republican representative for Illinois' 95th House District in 2023, succeeding Tim Butler.
