State Representative Jeff Keicher hosted the annual First Responders Roundtable, bringing together local police and fire leaders to discuss issues affecting first responders. The event was held at the Center for Emergency Services at Elgin Community College.

Keicher expressed appreciation for those who attended, stating, “Thank you to the dozens of local police and fire leaders who attended our annual First Responders Roundtable! Our first responders go to work every day ready to put their lives on the line to protect our families, and it’s more important than ever that we listen to the issues they face and ensure they have the resources they need to do their jobs protecting our communities. Thank you to all of our first responders!”

He also thanked Elgin Community College for hosting the event and acknowledged his colleagues, State Representative Dan Ugaste and State Senator Don DeWitte, along with their teams, for organizing the discussion.

Keicher has represented Illinois' 70th House District since 2018 after succeeding Robert W. Pritchard as state representative. He is a member of the Republican Party.
