Caroline Peters leads Lady Blues at UIS Prairie Stars Invite

Caroline Peters led the Illinois College Lady Blues cross country team at the UIS Prairie Stars Invite on Friday in Springfield, Illinois. Peters was the top finisher for her team, placing 41st overall with a time of 21:12.90. Bailey Downing followed closely, finishing 43rd in 21:20.81.

Other runners for Illinois College included Morgan Carrino, who finished third for the Lady Blues and 55th overall with a time of 22:40.56. Claire Peters took 59th place in 22:48.77. Ashley Watson completed the course in 23:01.06 to finish 62nd, while Emily Arens placed 69th in 28:48.50 and Kairy Mercado-Ramos was 70th in 23:51.32.

The next meet for the Lady Blues is scheduled for September 19 at the Bradley Intercollegiate in Peoria, Illinois, with a race start time of 5:15 p.m.
