There were 664 Asian students enrolled in Sangamon County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 2.6% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Asian students made up 2.5% of the 26,385 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.
