Illinois College's Rocket League team secured a 4–0 sweep against Northwestern College in NECC competition on Wednesday night in Jacksonville, Illinois.

The Blueboys started the series with a 4–2 win in the opening game. They continued their momentum by shutting out Northwestern 6–0 in Game 2 and winning Game 3 by a score of 7–1. The sweep was completed with a 3–1 victory in Game 4.

A technical interruption occurred during the match when Rocket League servers went down, which prevented individual player statistics from being recorded. The team stated that these numbers will be updated once they are available.

Illinois College adopted a new, more aggressive playstyle focused on maintaining offensive pressure and an attack-oriented rotation. This approach contributed to their increased scoring throughout the series.

The team is scheduled to play again on Wednesday, October 22nd against Carroll University in another NECC matchup.
