State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) and Sangamon County Sheriff Paula Crouch will host a Prescription Drug Drop Off Event in Springfield on Saturday, October 25. The event is designed to help residents safely dispose of unused or expired medications.

“The Sheriff and I are excited to be hosting this event that aims to safeguard our communities,” said Coffey. “The event is free and easy, just drive up and drop off your prescription medications to our volunteers.”

The drop-off will take place at KC Hall, located at 2200 Meadowbrook Rd., Springfield, IL 62711, from 10:00 AM to noon. The event is open to the public at no cost.

For more information about the event, constituents can contact Rep. Coffey’s office by phone or email.

Representative Mike Coffey was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023. He represents the state’s 95th House District, which includes parts of Sangamon County such as Springfield and the Villages of Chatham and Rochester, as well as portions of Macon and Christian Counties. He succeeded Tim Butler in this role.
