The Community Resources Committee of Sangamon County, Illinois will be meeting today at 5 p.m. to discuss support for an event for the Faith Coalition for the Common Good (FCCG) and other items.
According to the meeting agenda it is proposed that the committee would support the FCCG’s Annual Breakfast fundraising event with $500 and assistance at the event itself. The breakfast will be taking place on Thursday, March 17 between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
The committee will also be discussing matters relating to the Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance (LLWA) including the approval of agreements with information technology service providers and a website developer. There is also a consulting contract that will be considered by the committee for local and regional workforce planning.
There will also be a presentation by Anne Schneider from the LLWA.
An invitation will be considered for the Family of Distinction and Scholarship graduates to attend the county board meeting set to take place in May.
During this meeting there will also be a review of meeting minutes from the committee’s previous meeting that took place on Jan. 27.
