The Sangamon, Illinois County Court Services Committee will be meeting to discuss two position replacements during its meeting tonight at 5.
Both positions are within the Office of the Circuit Clerk. Both a small claims and a court clerk are sought at a salary of $26,374.72 per year. Both positions would be effective on Monday, March 28.
During this meeting the minutes from the committee’s previous meeting that took place on Feb. 4 will be reviewed and voted for approval.
The board will also discuss a report from Court Services, including the county’s juvenile center population report. Upcoming grant applications will also be discussed during this meeting.
This committee is tasked with the oversight of budgetary items associated with the different offices of the county justice system including: the Circuit Court, Juvenile Probation, Juvenile Center, the Public Defender, Adult Probation and Circuit Clerk offices. This committee consists of seven members and meets on a monthly basis on the first Thursday.
This meeting is scheduled to take place in room 201 at the Office of the County Clerk in Springfield.
