Ball-Chatham CUSD #5's board of education met on Monday to discuss renewing its food service contract with Sysco for fiscal year 2017.
The district's summer school offerings for this year were also discussed. Proposed course include driver's education classes, algebra I-1B, English I-IV, special education, consumer education and health, among others.
The board also considered a proposal to send the Glenwood High School Band to Chicago next spring for the St. Patrick's Day parade; and received a technology update.
The next regularly scheduled board meeting will be held on May 23.
