Repairs to a broken water valve by City Water, Light and Power (CWLP) necessitate a rerouting of eastbound Carpenter Street between Eighth and Ninth Streets, and closure of a southbound lane on Ninth Street between Miller and Carpenter Streets.
After the CWLP’s repairs, the lanes will stay closed until road-surface repair work is finished.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes and to be extra cautious when traveling through the affected areas as work crews and equipment will be present on various parts of the roadway.
