Williams Township Board of Trustees met January 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The regular meeting of Williams Township Board of Trustees was called to order by Supervisor Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 10, 2017. The meeting was held at the Township office.

Those present were: Supervisor Lee Miller, Road Commissioner Rich Bond, Clerk Melissa Loyd, Trustees: David May, Jan Halford, Assessor Mark Thompson Office Manager Debra Booker.

Guest present – Marla Smith, Duane Weiss

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee Jan Halford.

Trustee May moved to approve the minutes of the December 13th, 2016, board meeting. Second by Trustee Halford. Motion carried.

Trustee Halford moved to approve the monthly bills. Second by Trustee May. Motion carried.

Trustee May moved to approve payroll for the month of January. Second by Trustee Halford. Motion carried.

Duane Weiss presented a yearend report for the Williams Township Cemetery board. The Cemetery pamphlet was displayed for the boards review. The pamphlet is offered to individuals seeking information on a plot or services.

Road Commissioner Bond reported the township has been removing trees throughout the township. Bond reported the township is setting up concrete bins to hold rock at the stockpile

Trustee Halford moved to approve a donation of $500 to the Williamsville High School Prom committee. Second by Trustee May. Motion carried.

Motion by Trustee May to authorize supervisor Miller to transfer land listed on the warranty deed by Brown Hay & Stephens. Second by Trustee Halford. Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned following a motion by Trustee May and a second by Trustee Halford.
