Chatham Board of Fire Commissioners met March 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Commissioners:

· Call To Order

 Meeting started at 1605 hours

· Roll Call

 Present were: Commissioner Staab Polk, Sullivan, Hill; Chief Schumer and Administrative Assistant Kashima Stotts

 Absent were: None

· Approval of Previous Minutes

 Open and closed session minutes of February 20, 2017 were presented for approval. Motion to approve by Commissioner Sullivan and seconded by Commissioner Hill; motion passed.

· Public Comments And Concerns:

 No public comment

· Old Business:

 No old business

· New Business:

 Scheduling of events and timeline for next recruit testing processed were discussed, Commissioner Staab Polk made a motion to approve the schedule of events with the change to the timeline for advertising from March 21, 2017 to March 23, 2017 and was seconded by Commissioner Hill; motion passed.

 Application was reviewed and discussed, Commissioner Staab Polk made a motion to approve the application and was seconded by Commissioner Hill; motion passed

 Advertisement locations and timeframe were discussed. Commissioners will use same advertisement and timeframe as previous hiring process.

 Vendors for testing materials, bidding process were discussed, Commissioner Hill would like Chief Schumer to check on terms and prices of the previous vendor used during last hiring process.

 No closed session.

· Adjournment

 Motion was made by Commissioner Sullivan to adjourn the meeting at 1627 hours and was seconded by Commissioner Staab Polk; motion passed.
