Sangamon County Liquor Committee met July 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Present: Lisa Hills - Chairman, Cathy Scaife - Vice Chairman, Craig Hall, Brad Miller, Vera Small, Sam Snell, Mike Sullivan and Joel Tjelmeland

Not Present: Abe Forsyth, Tom Fraase & Linda Fulgenzi

Others: Trustin Harrison, Joel Benoit, Todd Smith, Matt Hortastine (Lucy’s Place), Chris Stone (Lucy’s Place) and Mary Carter (Secretary)

Chairman Hills called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Tjelmeland made a motion to approve the minutes from the June 21, 2017 meeting and Sullivan seconded. Motion carried (8-0).

Special Event License:

• 2017–03: Blue Grouch Pub extend hours for the state fair Sullivan made a motion to approve and Snell seconded. Motion carried (8-0)

Smith asked the committee if anyone h Grouch had last month. Hills & Miller Special Event that the Blue Grouch had last month. Hills & Miller said they did not hear of any issues.

Chris Stone & Matt Hortastine from Lucy's Place were present because they purchased existing liquor license. They came to the meeting in case the committee had any questions.

Trustin Harrison report:

• Video gaming report was discussed.

• Tavern incident report was discussed.

Trustin is going to work on the outdoor patio rules and get back with the committee. Trustin has drafted some parameters to consider. The committee discussed the outdoor patio rules & beer gardens.

There was no public

Snell made a motion to adjourn & Hall seconded. Motion carried 8-0.

Meeting adjourned at 5:27 pm.
