Petersburg Fire Department responded to 21 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Petersburg included 11 fires - four structure fires, three vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $27,500 in fire loss - or about $2,500 per fire.

The department also received 10 false calls.
