Loami Fire Protection District responded to 11 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the Sangamon Sun.

The calls in Loami included seven fires - two structure fires, two vehicle fires and three other fires.

In all, the department saw $26,000 in fire loss - or about $3,714 per fire.

The department also received four false calls, including one malicious call and 3 other false calls.
