Sangamon County Employee Services Committee met Nov. 6.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Members Present: Tony DelGiorno, Pam Deppe, Jason Ratts, Vera Small, Jeff Thomas

Members Absent: Tim Krell

Others Present: Mike Cowles, Andy Goleman, Todd Smith, Charlie Stratton, Dan Wright Denise E. McCrady (Secretary)

Vice-Chair Ratts called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Ratts requested a motion to approve the minutes of the October 2, 2017 meeting. A motion was made by Small and seconded by Deppe. Motion carried (5-0).

Charlie Stratton, Human Resources, reported to the Committee that an addendum to the Identity Protection Policy has been drafted and is under review by legal counsel. This addendum addressed the protection of social security numbers and the required notifications if there is a breach of information.

Dan Wright, Assistant State’s Attorney, addressed the Committee requesting approval to hire a replacement Assistant State’s Attorney at an annual salary of up to $48,000 effective on or after November 20, 2017. A motion to approve the request was made by DelGiorno and seconded by Thomas. Motion carried (5-0).

Andy Goleman, Auditor, and Mike Cowles, Deputy Auditor, addressed the Committee requesting approval of a resolution to enter into a contract with Encore Unlimited, LLC for comprehensive medical case management services for the period of January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2019 for a total sum of $120,000. A motion to approve the request was made by Thomas and seconded by Small. Motion carried (5-0).

Goleman and Cowles, requested approval of a resolution to renew the Workers Compensation Insurance Policy with Illinois Public Risk Fund for 2018. A motion to approve the request was made by DelGiorno and seconded by Deppe. Motion carried (5-0).

Ratts requested a motion to approve the requisitions. A motion was made by Small and seconded by DelGiorno. Motion carried (5-0).

There was no old business or public comment.

A motion to adjourn was made DelGiorno and seconded by Small. Motion carried (5-0). Meeting adjourned.
