City of Atlanta City Council Meeting met Jan. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the Council:

Open: The regular meeting of the Atlanta City Council was held on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the Atlanta City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor ProTem Billie Cheek at 7:30pm.

Roll Call: Billie Cheek, Keith Eimer, Adam McVey, Tommy Young and Andrea Halley were present. Mayor Finchum and Alderman Finchum were absent.

Motion by McVey second by Eimer to approve the minutes as presented.

Halley-yes Finchum-A

Eimer-yes Cheek-yes

Young-yes McVey-yes

Motion Carries.

Motion by Halley second by McVey to pay all bills as approved by their chairman.

Motion Carries.

Keith Gardner states snow removal has gone well.

Chief Eimer states Police activity has been quiet and the TASER gun has been purchased.

Mayor ProTem Cheek states the Ordinance for the property at 114 SW First St. will be carried to the next meeting.

Motion by Halley second by Eimer to close the meeting.
