State Representative Mike Coffey is actively engaging with businesses in the 95th District through his initiative, "Mike on Main Street." This effort aims to directly connect with businesses and workers to better understand their needs and improve the business climate in Illinois.

Recently, Rep. Coffey visited Impact Life in Springfield. During his visit, he donated blood and learned about the organization's operations and mission to save lives. Impact Life operates a location on Wabash Ave and has a regional distribution hub within the 95th District, ensuring prompt service for hospitals. The organization focuses on providing blood products and services to communities in need.

Rep. Coffey stated, “ImpactLife does a tremendous job saving lives by providing blood products and services to communities in need throughout Illinois.” He added that the Springfield location receives thirty to seventy-five blood donations daily, expressing pride in contributing to their life-saving mission.

Additionally, Rep. Coffey toured O’Shea Builders in Springfield as part of his "Mike on Main Street" initiative. The company faces challenges finding qualified tradesmen for employment but offers rewarding positions for individuals with valid trade school certifications. O’Shea Builders has partnered with Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) to attract good-paying jobs within Illinois.
