City of Springfield issued the following announcement on July 6.

The following streets will be under construction beginning Monday, July 9 for asphalt paving

(patching), weather permitting.

• Barrington Drive

• Burgess Drive

• Devon Wood Drive

• Disar Drive

• Earthwind Drive

• Flaxen Mill Drive

• Heather Mill Drive

• Palo Alto Drive

• Redlands Drive

• Silver Lake Drive

• Silver Mill Drive

• West Road

• Winterwood Drive

• Wood Mill Drive

The following streets will be under construction for concrete work, weather permitting. Work will include

removing and replacing portions of curb and gutter and updating accessibility ramps on sidewalks:

• 4th Street (Broad - Ash)

• Ash Street (MLK – Taylor)

• Spruce Street (2nd – 3rd)

• Vine (2nd – 3rd)

• Whittier (Laurel – South Grand)

The following streets will be under construction for the city’s sidewalk program, weather permitting.

• 5th Street (Stanford – Norfolk Southern Railroad underpass)

• 6th Street (Stanford – Norfolk Southern Railroad underpass)

• Cherylwood Drive

• Cook Street (Eastdale – Livingston)

• Huntington Road (W. Lake Shore – Moorgate)

• Kent Drive (W. Lake Shore – Moorgate)

• Lori Lane

• Marco Lane

• Moorgate Drive (Kent – Queensway)

• Queensway Road (W. Lake Shore – Moorgate)
