City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Beginning today, Sept. 17, - weather permitting, crews will start this year’s oil and chip resurfacing project. The city's contractor will begin scarifying various streets throughout town. The oil and chip portion should begin the week of Sept. 24. If you travel in these areas please be aware of and obey traffic control and No Parking signs. In a separate project beginning tomorrow, Sept. 18, at 8 a.m., the City of Lincoln in cooperation with the Logan County Highway Department and West Lincoln Township, will begin to oil and chip Maridale St., Memorial Park Rd., and a portion of Connolley Rd.
