Ball Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Titan Fuel, the non-profit organization that provides food assistance and support to Ball-Chatham students in need, has begun a membership program called, “Friends of Titan Fuel.” By signing up as a member, individuals can sponsor a child in the program. For businesses or organizations that would like to help on a larger scale, the Business/Group Sponsorship Program is a great option! Learn more about both options below:
Individual Membership - To become a member, individuals can sign up at titanfuelbcsd.org to feed a child all school year for $150, or for half a school year for $75. There is also an option to support more than one child. In return, members will honored at the Friends of Titan Fuel Annual Reception, and be recognized at the Titan Fuel Shrimp Boil & BBQ. Members also have the option to take part in a food packing night if desired.
Business/Group Sponsorship Program - Businesses and organizations who would like to sponsor Titan Fuel on a larger scale, can choose from the following. Please contact Titan Fuel President, Meredith Ferguson at (256) 452-0701 or email titanfuelbcsd@gmail.com.
(Full Pack): Feeds all children enrolled in the Titan Fuel program for two weeks. $1,000 ~ Benefits include:
Titan Fuel Pack Sponsor sign presented and left with the business or group for one month
Framed picture of the sponsored pack night with company logo
A picture from the sponsored pack night posted on Titan Fuel Facebook page with business/group logo and thank you message
Recognition at the Titan Fuel Shrimp Boil & BBQ
Business/group will have the option to take part in their sponsored packing of the food
Business/group representatives will be honored at the Friends of Titan Fuel Annual Reception
(Half Pack): Feeds all children enrolled in the Titan Fuel program for one week. $500 ~ Benefits include:
A picture from the sponsored pack night posted on Titan Fuel Facebook page with business/group logo and thank you message
Recognition at the Titan Fuel Shrimp Boil & BBQ
Business/group will have the option to take part in their sponsored packing of the food
Business/group representatives will be honored at the Friends of Titan Fuel Annual Reception
