City of Peru Committee of the Whole met September 17. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:

A Committee Of A Whole meeting was called to order by Scott J. Harl in the Peru City Council Chambers on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.


City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard present; Mayor Harl present.

Minutes

Mayor Harl presented the Committee Of A Whole Minutes of May 29, 2018. Alderman Potthoff made a motion that the minutes be received and placed on file. Alderman Waldorf seconded the motion; motion carried.

Closed Session

Mayor Harl asked for a motion to go into closed session to discuss litigation “when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting. Alderman Waldorf made a motion to go into closed session. Alderman Payton seconded the motion. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard voting aye; motion carried.

Closed session began at 6:05 p.m.; ended 6:47 p.m.

Alderman Potthoff made a motion to re-open the meeting at 6:49 p.m. Alderman Ferrari seconded the motion. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard present; Mayor Harl present.

Adjournment

Alderman Ferrari made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Radtke seconded the motion and motion carried. Meeting adjourned 6:50 p.m.
