Report: Triopia spent $9,983 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Triopia Community Unit School District 27 is up 4.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Sangamon Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Morgan County school district spent $9,563 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,983 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 382 to 383.

Triopia's spending in 2017-18 was 25.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
