Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.
What do Gertrude Abercrombie, Juliet Kepes, and Judy Chicago all have in common? They all created art in Illinois! In honor of Women’s History Month, view and learn about the art of women from Illinois and beyond. Make art inspired by female artists and explore the rich world of women in art with crafts, games, and more.
Super Saturdays offer thematic activities recommended for children ages 5 and up each month. Activities take 30-40 minutes to complete and are included with Museum admission.
