Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
Congratulations to GHS art student, Bailey Schroeder, who was awarded first place in the Springfield Old Capitol Art Fair Student Poster Contest!! As the first place winner, she will be awarded a check for $250, have her piece be the main focal point of the art fair advertisement poster, have her piece professionally framed, receive recognition in the SOCAF Illinois Times insert in May 2019, and will be listed on the SOCAF website. Wow!!!
