ILLINOIS STATE MUSEUM: World Wildlife Day

Seaunder

Illinois State Museum issued the following announcement on March 4.

World Wildlife Day this year celebrates “Life Below Water: For People and Planet.” Illinois is bordered by 880 miles of rivers and contains over 87,000 miles of rivers and streams within its borders. These freshwater systems are significant ecologically and economically. Plus, they contribute to quality of life whether you are boating, fishing, or watching the wildlife.
