Atlanta home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Atlanta rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $100,000 - a 13.6% increase over the $88,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Atlanta in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,805, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for October 2018.
