Illinois College's Overwatch team was defeated by DePauw University in a recent NECC match, with a final score of 1–3. The match began with Illinois College taking an early lead after winning the first map, Lijiang Tower, 2–0. DePauw responded by winning the next three maps: Eichenwalde (3–0), New Queen Street (3–1), and Rialto (3–0).
Despite the loss, Illinois College demonstrated strong play at times, especially during the opening map. The team continues to gain experience against challenging opponents in the league.
