Illinois College Overwatch team falls to DePauw in NECC competition

Illinois College's Overwatch team was defeated by DePauw University in a recent NECC match, with a final score of 1–3. The match began with Illinois College taking an early lead after winning the first map, Lijiang Tower, 2–0. DePauw responded by winning the next three maps: Eichenwalde (3–0), New Queen Street (3–1), and Rialto (3–0).

Despite the loss, Illinois College demonstrated strong play at times, especially during the opening map. The team continues to gain experience against challenging opponents in the league. The lineup for Illinois College included Dwight Duijenveld and Meryn Davis as DPS players, Carter Naeve as tank, and Alex Rhoades and Bunni Little in support roles.
