Auburn home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Auburn rose by $15,050 while total sales decreased by 58.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 13.7% increase over the $109,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Auburn in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Auburn for 2017 was $1,705. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,736. This marks an decrease of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
