Woodside home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Woodside, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $69,000 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,500 - a 26.1% decrease over the $264,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Woodside in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Woodside for 2017 was $4,211. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,567. This marks an decrease of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
