Route 4/ Route 97 home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $12,100 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $48,000 - a 33.7% increase over the $35,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for 2017 was $1,853. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,907. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.9%.
