College Street/ Ash Street home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in College Street/ Ash Street, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $17,771 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $56,529 - a 23.9% decrease over the $74,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in College Street/ Ash Street in February 2016.

The median sales tax in College Street/ Ash Street for 2017 was $2,064. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,017. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.7%.
