4th Street/ Cook Street home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in 4th Street/ Cook Street, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $6,750 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $43,500 - a 13.4% decrease over the $50,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in 4th Street/ Cook Street in July 2016.

The median sales tax in 4th Street/ Cook Street for 2017 was $1,515. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,512. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
