The regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Athens School District, Athens, Illinois was called to order by President Penrod on April 29, 2019 at 7:01 p.m.

Members Present: Epperson, Gordon, Ingram, Mayfield, Penrod, Shiffer, Woodrum

Members Absent: None

Administrators Present: Laird, Binegar, Reed, Rhoades, Szoke

There were several visitors present.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Ingram to enter into executive session for the semi-annual review of executive session minutes at 7:02 p.m.

Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Ingram to re-enter regular session at 7:07 p.m.

RECEPTION OF VISITORS, PETITIONS, COMMUNICATIONS

There were no comments from visitors, petitions or communications during the regular meeting.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Ingram to approve the March 25, 2019 Regular Meeting Minutes, March 25, 2019 Executive Session Minutes, and March 11, 2019 Special Meeting Minutes.

ACTION ITEM

Asbestos Change Order

Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Ingram to approve the Asbestos change order in the amount of $3400.

REPORT OF OFFICIAL CANVASS RESULTS

Mr. Penrod presented the official canvass results, of the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election, received from the Menard County Clerk.

Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Ingram to adopt a Resolution Authorizing the Canvass of the Votes Cast and Proclamation of Results from the April 2, 2019 Election as follows:

ANNOUNCEMENTS
