The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 51-year-old man convicted of a sex crime in 2010.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was David Borner. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2001, when he was 38 years old. He is now 55.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
