Atlanta home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Atlanta rose by $20,100 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $98,100 - a 25.8% increase over the $78,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Atlanta in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,805, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
